I don’t need to tell you that the Mets don’t play winning baseball. You already know that. But how about this amazing breakdown from Jomboy that shows the Mets are either cowards on the base paths or don’t know the sliding rules. They never break up double plays. Like not just once here, twice there. They slide 10 feet before the base,  especially Jeff McNeil, who of course had a full diaper when Rhys Hoskins did it on Opening Day:

This is the same organization who got mad at Chase Utley for playing baseball.

There’s a part at 10:20 that Jomboy caught from the game last night of Francisco Lindor just running through the bag on a double play ball. The announcers mentioned that the Mets are taught to do that when there is a guy on second. Why? It’s in case the fielder misses second base on the tag the fielder will have to go tag Lindor and the runner will score from third. Is that confusing? Because it just confused me too. Just watch:

How many times does a guy miss the bag on a double play? Once? Twice a season? I mean this doesn’t make any sense. The data isn’t even on your side. What a strategy by the Mets!

No wonder Gary Cohen is already over the season:

By the way, PA online casinos like BetMGM now have MLB-themed slots games.
