The Self Proclaimed "Prophet of the Process" Says Joel Embiid Needs to Step Up in Big Games
Pablo Torre was on the Dan LeBatard show talking about the Sixers 2-0 start and how Joel Embiid needs to step up in big games:
“Joel Embiid needs to step up in a big game…I’m tired of being the prophet of the process”
– Diehard Philadelphia 76ers fan, @PabloTorre has officially grown tired of “the process”. 🔕

Woah woah woah buddy. You can’t just give yourself a nickname. Who are you Chad Johnson? The “Prophet of the Process”? Who green-lit that? You’re openly talking about growing up a Knicks fan that became a Sixers fan. Who are you Spike Eskin?
That whole video was a giant clusterfuck of sticking your foot in your mouth. 48 hours from now Pablo is going to probably want that one back. Joel Embiid needs to step up? He’s averaging 31.5 points per game on one leg. He had 34 and 10 on Monday. He did more than enough. The only person who did more was Tyrese Maxey. Would I love to see him grab more rebounds? Sure. But I think it’s physically impossible at this point. And that’s why you have four other guys.
Has Embiid shrank in some big games? Absolutely. Game 6 last year where he didn’t call for the ball most of the 4th quarter sticks out. But saying Joel Embiid has to step up in a big game after a heartbreaking loss is like saying Disney World isn’t the happiest place on Earth because it unfortunately rained on the one day you were there. Enjoy the Mickey Mouse pancakes and the indoor hotel pool and shut it.
EDIT – No indoor pools at Disney???
Disney World is the most magical place on earth and I don’t think there is an indoor pool on property. They are all heated though
