Snap counts from Brazil:

Brandon Graham played 32 snaps (48%) while Nolan Smith and Bryce Huff played 31 and 30 respectively. The edge rushers as a group combined for one QB hit, 0 sacks, and 0 tackles for loss, and while the field conditions certainly weren’t ideal, and perhaps influenced the personnel rotation, the production was underwhelming.

On the defensive line, the numbers look more like they did 6-8 years ago, when Fletcher Cox was top of the rotation and in his prime. Jalen Carter played more than 70% of the snaps and Jordan Davis crested 50%, with Milton Williams and Moro Ojomo as the third and fourth guys. Honestly a little surprised, pleasantly surprised, that Carter’s number was that high. Obviously Avonte Maddox was way up there too, playing slot with Quinyon Mitchell covering for the injured Isaiah Rodgers on the outside.

Not a ton to glean from the offensive side, though Grant Calcaterra played a lot more than we thought he would. They did go 12 personnel at times and we can look at those run/pass splits when the data comes out. Jahan Dotson got one target on 32 snaps and was a late camp arrival, so there’s not much to worry about there. Britain Covey got nine snaps where it seemed like all he did was run pre-snap motion without a further glance in his direction.
