Garrett Stubbs Came to Field Day to Call Us Fat and Drink Miller Lites
Phillies catcher, Chief Vibes Officer, and now NL East Champion Garrett Stubbs came out to the Crossing Broad Field Day to watch six of Philadelphia’s premier athletes compete for $500 in five different field day competitions: Javelin, Three-Legged Race, Balloon Stomp, a Beer Mile, and Skee-Ball. He couldn’t believe how athletic we were. He doesn’t say it, but you can tell he was thinking it:
Am I crazy or did Caleb Cotham definitely offer me a spring training invite after watching me toss a NERF football for next year? I can’t be worse than Taijuan Walker!
This was a ton of fun to make and I appreciate the amount of people that did coming out to Garage, so I’m going to do a giveaway! I have five large FOCO overalls just collecting dust from this event and want to give them away. If you want one, comment on the YouTube video how many wins you think the Phillies will finish the season with and we’ll pick five people who guess right and you’ll have overalls for the postseason!
Special thanks to Miller Lite for providing all of the beer! FOCO for supplying the overalls for the three-legged race! Garage Passyunk for giving us a place to host all the Phillies fans that came out!
