Vikings Players Started Feeling Bad for Daniel Jones Mid-Game
Glad to see I wasn’t the only one kind of feeling bad for Daniel Jones. He was so bad on Sunday that the Vikings defense started to show a little empathy for him, according to linebacker Jonathan Greenyard on a recent segment with KFAN1003 in Minnessota:
“When we heard the boos, we were kind of like, ‘man, alright we’re good on our side.’ But when it got loud to the point of where it was as loud as what a third down should be when they’re on defense, it was bad. We kind of started to feel a little bit bad for him as we’re still just completely just taking away everything that he wants to do. It’s good to be on the other side of it.”
Joe Schoen has to start banging his head against the wall every time he reads about his team on the Internet. If it wasn’t for the Panthers, the Giants would be the laughingstock of the NFL right now. I know we sound like a broken record, but we’re allowed to say “I told you so” after everyone ridiculed the Giants for signing Danny Pennies. They attached themselves to maybe the worst QB we’ve seen in a decade and let their star running back and the identity of the team walk to a division rival.
And it’s not just people all over the country, it’s at home too. He should’ve listened to his kid:
I mean Joe Schoen’s son absolutely CRUCIFIES Daniel Jones here.
“You only get this job once, you might as well try to win.”

You know it’s bad when another team starts to take their foot off the gas because they feel bad for you. This is what I’d expect from Oklahoma when they’re up 50 on Temple, not in the pros. We’re talking about the best 53 the Giants could throw out there. One of the 32 best QBs in the world is under center. This guy is making $40 million a year and players feel bad for him.
It’s gotta be like in CYO basketball when a team was up 15 points you had to play defense inside the three-point line. Just totally defeating if you’re on the other squad. The fact a bunch of 6th graders have to stay back in a 2-3 zone behind this pretend force field because the other team can’t handle a full court press is probably why so many people my age have anxiety.
This clip will age beautifully when Schoen finally gets his pink slip from John Mara:
“You’re paying the guy $40 million. It’s not to hand the ball off to a $12 million back.” https://t.co/bSRiMMsZGT pic.twitter.com/1AG9nAzw3E
