You Know the Eagles are Good Again Because All People Can Find to Complain About is the Tush Push
There is nothing more football than 22 gladiators lining up and imposing their will on each other. Don’t tell that to Ben DiNucci:
The “tush push” annoys me
It isn’t football

Of course Ben doesn’t like the Tush Push.
Ben couldn’t run the Tush Push:
This is why benCH Dinucci hates the Tush Push btw…. https://t.co/n4W7CEXZTb pic.twitter.com/c7hWSRO9Ni

The Eagles are so good it feels like 2022 again. People have run out of things to complain about. They had to stow away the “fire Nick Sirianni” and “bench Jalen Hurts” takes and go back digging through the archives. The producers on these morning sports shows need to fill time. People aren’t going to watch their analysts ball-washing the Eagles. So what do you resort to? Complaining about the Tush Push like Kyle Brandt did last Friday, but throw in a new wrinkle to keep it fresh:
I’m pissed off at the Tush Push.
It’s going to cost Saquon MVP. pic.twitter.com/z1l5VDX18g

They’d never give the MVP to a running back. Brandt knows this. With or without the Tush Push, this is Josh Allen’s award to lose. It was Lamar Jackson’s to lose last week. Jared Goff’s to lose maybe next. Patrick Mahomes has better odds than Saquon right now and for Mahomes standards he sucks this year. Fantastic job by KB to fill a 90-second segment the NFL accounts can use for social media. That’s how you last in the TV business nowadays.
If anyone deserves an award, it’s Saquon’s agent. He has $0 in his contract tied up in TD incentives. That’s an agent who definitely had D’Andre Swift on his fantasy team last year:
From @NFLGameDay: #Eagles RB Saquon Barkley’s bottom-line isn’t affected by the Tush Push, as he has zero incentives based on TDs. Smart move. pic.twitter.com/eBvtk8fgaj
