RE: Milton Williams himself, he’s having a somewhat under-the-radar breakout year. Five sacks, eight QB hits, a forced fumble, and six tackles for loss. He’s more or less met his career highs after only 337 snaps, 200 of which are logged as pass rush. The other 137 are in run defense. Pro Football Focus says he’s logged 26 total pressures, which is a combination of those sacks and QB hits, plus 17 hurries. He’s on the final year of his rookie deal and making a little more than $3 million at age 25, so expect the contract extension news to hit sooner rather than later. He’s been great this season.
