Just so we’re all on the same page here, Jalen Hurts went down in the first quarter and Kenny Pickett ended up playing the rest of the game. The Washington Commanders, at home, needed a touchdown on the final drive to defeat the Eagles in Landover for the first time since 2020. This was after DeVonta Smith dropped a simple pass that would have allowed the Birds to take a knee and end it. Everybody knows that if Hurts remains in the game, it’s over in the third quarter, final score 42 to 17 or something similar. You’d think this Washington team just beat the 1985 Chicago Bears by the way they acting.
If there is a god, he or she will make sure that the Eagles host the Communists in the 2/7 playoff game at Lincoln Financial Field. Let’s play the rubber match in Philadelphia with a healthy QB1 on the field. Let’s play in front of a real crowd, in a real stadium that doesn’t feature exploding water pipes and falling railings. Let’s see what happens when you can’t put nine guys in the box to stop the run.
The Commies have no idea what’s coming to them in the postseason. It’s a cute story they have right now, finally stumbling into a legitimate starting quarterback after years of embarrassing football. Of course they’d turn it around at some point, because you can’t stink forever, but they’re still little brother and need to realize that right now. Let’s run it back. We are going to smash your boys. Alhamdulillah.
