A.J. Brown was on Million Dollaz Worth of Game and was asked about his relationship with Jalen Hurts (skip to 4:20) :

But me and him are good man. We just wanna be great. And sometimes we bump heads, but that’s normal. And don’t nobody sweat it. It’s normal. But with the history of this team, with McNabb and T.O, it’s magnified times 10.”

I think Brown might be the most misunderstood athlete this city has ever seen. The amount of bullshit that follows this guy is ridiculous. He doesn’t talk to the media for a couple of weeks and he’s a diva. He reads a book on the sideline he’s mad he’s not getting the ball. He writes on Instagram how he wasn’t fulfilled with the Super Bowl win well now he’s selfish. It’s just bullshit narrative after bullshit narrative. It doesn’t help when team leader Brandon Graham mentions the friction on the radio, but the way they were able to patch that up so quickly and continue to win should tell you that they’re good. I couldn’t imagine working with my best friend every single day. There would be good days and a lot of bad ones. Days you don’t want to see them and days when you’re glad you have them in your corner. That’s just life, but when you’re in a high-profile business the narratives are uncontrollable.

If I had to guess that’s probably closer to the real A.J. Brown. A thought-provoking leader who takes note of everything when you would think he doesn’t. And also someone who thinks the Earth is flat.
