Dak Prescott Not Expected to Take “Meaningful Snaps” in Practice This Week

Dak Prescott was limited Wednesday with his sprained right shoulder.
What do you think? Legit concern? Bullshit? Are they blowing smoke up our butts with some misdirection here? Does Dak actually come out and throw for 500 yards and 5 touchdowns at the Linc?
Here’s what ESPN’s Todd Archer had to say after Jason Garrett revealed Wednesday that Prescott’s shoulder was sore following the Sunday win against the Rams:
FRISCO, Texas — Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott will play Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles likely without taking any meaningful snaps in practice during the week because of his sprained right shoulder, according to a source.
Prescott was limited at a practice for the first time in his career on Wednesday. He did not take a snap and will likely also be listed as limited over the next two days, with the club looking to be cautious with his health heading into a de facto NFC East championship game against the Eagles.
Hmm, well it’s interesting to think about this from an Eagles defensive standpoint. Do you sell out to stop the run and let Dak try to beat you through the air with an allegedly bum shoulder? Or do you do the opposite, and let Zeke Elliott have a day while trying to limit big plays in the passing game? Not sure how confident fans are right now after watching the last three games, when the D gave up some big plays to stinky offensive clubs.
We’ll find out.
Here’s another report:
#Cowboys QB Dak Prescott doing a lot of standing and watching out at practice during media avail. Threw 1 soft pass in the pat-and-go drills. Mostly stood around w ball in his hand. A team source tells me they aren’t concerned about the right shoulder. Instead says it’s “sore” pic.twitter.com/RZytkOCf4N
