Kyle Lowry Watch 2021: Raptors Holding Up the League?

Today? Big day for Crossing Broad founder Kyle Scott.
We’ve got Villanova’s Kyle Lowry, a six-time NBA All-Star, POSSIBLY going somewhere else as the 3 p.m. trade deadline looms.
At last check, Miami, Philadelphia, and perhaps the Lakers were suitors for the 35-year-old’s services. If you read all of the various reports floating around out there, the Heat seem to be making the strongest push, but you can’t rule out Daryl Morey when it comes to blockbuster moves.
Walking off the floor last night in Tampa, Lowry sure made it look like he had played his last game in a Raptor uniform:

Afterward, he said this, courtesy of ESPN:
“It was kind of weird tonight not knowing what the next step would be, just with understanding there are things that could possibly be done,” Lowry said. “It was different tonight, for sure.
“I mean, who knows what’s going to happen? No one knows what’s going to happen. But it was definitely, for sure, different.”
The win over the Nuggets ended a nine-game losing streak. Lowry had eight points, five rebounds, and nine assists, finishing +42 on a night where the Raptors shot 50.6% from the floor and 50% from three.
There wasn’t much that happened overnight, no 1 a.m. Woj bombs or anything like that, but we did get this update:
League sources say that the #Raptors – with highly coveted trade targets Norman Powell and Kyle Lowry – are “holding up” much of the league because of huge asking prices for Powell and Lowry.

Not surprising. Powell is also on an expiring contract and Toronto is going to be working on two fronts to extract maximum value for each player. There hasn’t been any major move as we approach the deadline, and the only thing that happened in the past 48 hours was a small trade involving the Kings and Pistons, with Delon Wright heading to Sacramento.
Standing by. This is Kyle Lowry Watch 2021.
