Dwight Howard Suspended for Sixers/Magic Game

As expected:
76ers center Dwight Howard has been suspended one game for receiving his 16th technical foul of the 2020-21 season.

Howard was at the center of everything in Miami last night. He tussled with Udonis Haslem, who was ejected. He shared words with Dewayne Dedmon. He was T’d up shortly after the second quarter began and with 68 appearances this season, he’s now averaging a technical foul once per 4.25 games.
The NBA rule is that a 16th technical results in an automatic one-game suspension. For every two additional techs you pick up after that, you get an additional game of suspension, without pay.
Philly goes for the clinch tonight, and without Howard you’re going to see more of Mike Scott on the floor.
