The greatest lie Ben Simmons ever told was he hoped to play in Philadelphia March 10th:

It’s funny how the back soreness flares up the day after we see James Harden and Joel Embiid put the entire NBA on notice. Wasn’t Ben Simmons training to stay in shape in case he was traded and scheduling runs with former NBA players around Philly while he was shelved? He’s been in Brooklyn for two weeks, the typical length of an NBA training camp, and he looks nowhere close to playing while reconstructing his shooting mechanics with Kyle Korver. Joe Johnson at 40 years old got off the couch and played for the Celtics this season after being out of the league for three years. Goran Dragic was signed Tuesday, hasn’t played since November, and is in the lineup at 35. I don’t care that Ben Simmons has had back issues in the past. Something STINKS here! For the first time I actually feel like Ben Simmons’ return could be in doubt and if I’m one of the hundreds of Nets fans watching on YES, I’d start to worry Sean Marks got hosed.
This is stunning. The Nuggets’ 0.19 local TV rating is the lowest in the league and on pace to be the lowest NBA local rating in at least the last 15 years, per @sbjsbd. The glory years of Nuggets basketball led by the best player in franchise history continue to go unwatched. pic.twitter.com/ioOosodDhE
