Lifting the Sixers Moratorium with a James Harden Clown Show Update

Quick check of the Sixers, one day before their season opener in Milwaukee:
James Harden returned to Philadelphia on Tuesday night with his bags packed to join team on the road for Thursday vs. Bucks and Saturday vs. Raptors, but the 76ers have now asked him not to travel with the team, sources said. https://t.co/N7GONkU6l9

Woj says “Harden is dressed for practice and joining his teammates on the court.” Well woop dee fuckin doo! That’s great.
He also tweeted this:
James Harden hasn’t practiced with Sixers since October 15 and plan is allowing him to stay at Camden practice facility and work with team development staff to get the live action necessary to get him playing games once Sixers return from Milwaukee-Toronto trip, sources said.

Some people have asked if we’re lifting the Sixers moratorium on the site. The answer is yes. It was going to be lifted 1) when the Harden saga was resolved or 2) when the regular season began, so we’ve reached parameter number two here. Admittedly, Pagan completely ignored the moratorium and I threw the occasional interesting Sixers post on the site (like Embiid Team USA), but make no mistake – we are still 100% OUT on this team. Consider this a hate post, or a hate blog. We will be hate blogging this team through the end of the month and into November. Why? You tell me what there is to be excited about. Nick Nurse? Joel Embiid? James Harden clown show notwithstanding, this is largely the same wretched team that quit in Game 7 against the Celtics. The Sixers don’t deserve one ounce of your time or attention until Harden is traded or they rip off enough wins to justify tuning in. Until then, we’re keeping them at arm’s length, and the arm belongs to Mr. Fantastic.
