Nick Sirianni and Jeffrey Lurie Reportedly Did Not Meet Wednesday Because of “Logistical Issues”

Brotherly Shove hater Diana Russini checking in:
Both Eagles GM Howie Roseman and HC Nick Sirianni have been reaching out to available NFL coaches and coordinators, as well as coaching agents across the league to evaluate potential coordinator candidates to join their coaching staff as they plan for the 2024 season.

Russini tweeted this as a follow up:
“Though this may suggest that Nick Sirianni is safe, I’m told he has not met with owner Jeffrey Lurie, something that was not possible today because of logistical issues. Until that meeting happens, all bets are off.”
Logistical issues!
Now, Russini said earlier this year via a league source that Roger Goodell wanted to ban the Brotherly Shove. Goodell and the league later came out and said THAT’S NOT TRUE, like Mike Gundy at Oklahoma State. So Russini could have something here, or perhaps not. You would think that if Howie and Nick are reaching out to coordinators that it means Brian Johnson is done-zo and there will be a new OC in the fold. Or, if Lurie is not impressed, then he cans Sirianni instead, ala Doug Pederson wanting to bring in his guys in 2020.
UPDATE – here’s another tweet:
Nick Sirianni will meet with owner Jeffrey Lurie and will be expected to have a plan for how he is going to improve the Eagles. This will include a pitch on potential new coordinators and assistant coaches, per sources. This is why coaches around the league have been contacted.
