G Cobb May Run for Congress

From the Philadelphia Business Journal:
Garry Cobb, who played 11 years in the NFL as a linebacker for the Eagles, Detriot Lions and Dallas Cowboys and has enjoyed a 20-year career with 94-WIP, is leaning toward running as a Republican for New Jersey’s 1st Congressional District seat being vacated by Democratic U.S. Rep. Rob Andrews.
“He is seriously considering it and will probably make up his mind in the next two weeks,” said Pat Breslin, a friend who returned a message placed to Cobb Thursday.
Garry is a nice man who legitimately knows football, but – let’s turn on the sarcastic font – what this country really needs solving its complex problems is an ex-football player who yells at his GPS.
