Jahlil Okafor and TJ McConnell are one win away from winning an NBA title now that the Pacers whooped up on the Thunder last night to force a Game 7. TJ McConnell had a hell of a game to go along with his stellar series:

Jahlil Okafor on the other hand played on the Pacers for three total minutes back in February, but is still eligible for a ring if Indy brings it home. Can you believe it? The Process worked!

Can you believe all of the players to come out of The Process TJ McConnell is the most successful? That’s nuts. Multiple #1 picks, a slew of lottery picks, MVPs, Rookie of the Years, All-NBA Teams, All-Stars, and the undrafted free agent is the most successful of the bunch. It’s wild. I don’t want to re-litigate The Process, but I’m still in the minority that it worked. It was all about acquiring assets and the Sixers did that and had some success – in the middle of a coup, a burner scandal, and two #1 picks that decided one day they just couldn’t shoot. No one will like to hear that because they’ve never played in a Conference Finals, and that’s fine.

Lets get it back to McConnell who has been the lightning rod for this Pacers team the entire Finals. Last night, the 6’1 McConnell had more rebounds than anyone on the Thunder:

If there was one Process Sixer that every Sixers fan could agree deserves one it’s McConnell. Dude has been stepping up in the playoffs since he was tapped to start in Philly. This hurts to watch back. What a time:

No doubt in my mind that if you polled 100 Philadelphia sports fans the only thing they’d all agree on is that TJ McConnell deserves a championship and that’s saying something. I mean the guy just had a great game and he’s still being reminded about the State Championship game he lost in high school by his own dad:
