Who Signed Off on These St. Joe’s Jerseys?

Did Nike strike again? Oh baby, Nike struck again. If you didn’t think they could make the font on the back of jerseys any tinier than the MLB ones two seasons ago, boy were you wrong. Look at this nameplate on the St. Joe’s jerseys last night. What is this, a jersey for ants?

But this is just because Jaiden Glover-Toscano has a hyphenated name right? Nope:

This is laughable. Who signed off on these? This would be me courtside:

Why is everything getting smaller and tighter in the world of fashion? We don’t need to go back to the 2003 NBA Draft, but can we meet in the middle? What even is the reasoning behind this? Is it a cost issue? Is it some sort moisture-wicking technology that forces them to print in 10 point font? Did Billy Lange sign off on these right before he bolted for the Knicks G League as one final fuck you to the Hagan faithful?

And it’s not just a St. Joe’s issue. From what I gathered in the replies, Brown and Fairfield University have the same issue:

What do all of these college basketball teams have in common? Their jerseys are provided by Nike. Which is weird because Duke is also a Nike school and their nameplates are normal. Temple and Villanova have normal sized nameplates as well. Is this anti-mid-major discrimination?
