The Flyers WIN IN OVERTIME:

It was always Flyers in 6. They don’t ask how, they ask how many, and it’s four wins to two, series OVER.

Furthermore, it doesn’t matter how rough it looked at times on Wednesday night. It doesn’t matter that the Penguins dominated for long stretches. It doesn’t matter if the Flyers were outshot 42 to 32. Dan Vladar played a GREAT game, one of his best ever, the Flyers hung in there, they dug deep, and they got the goal. The end. Stick a fuckin’ fork in the Penguins. They ran into a hot goaltender and lost the game despite being the better team on the night. Welcome to playoff hockey.

By the way, if you pressed the panic button after Game 5 you should be ashamed of yourself. Put on the dunce cap and sit in the corner for 15 minutes. This is a young team and a rebuilding team and a lot of these guys are playing postseason hockey for the first time. They’ve never experienced this before. They need support from their so-called fans, not a bunch of losers flocking to Twitter to say “this series is over” with the Flyers up 3-2. Keep that shit to the 94 WIP airwaves. This group is overachieving, and the bottom line is that in a transitional season they ended the Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin era in Pittsburgh. If you can’t enjoy that, you can’t enjoy anything.

Let’s keep this thing going and enjoy the moment.
