Finally:

This was so good to see because I’ve been losing sleep over it. I was literally awake at 2 a.m. this morning thinking to myself, “man, I can’t believe Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown haven’t spoken to one another since A.J. was traded to the Patriots.” I mean, don’t get me wrong, nobody gives a shit about the Patriots, and A.J. is no longer an Eagle, but I was really broken up by the thought that maybe these two guys weren’t getting along anymore, or they were never going to talk ever again, which was implausible anyway since grown men don’t hold forever-grudges.

Admittedly, this was affecting my mental health and my physical health. I lost 17 pounds and fell into a deep depression, playing Elden Ring every day, for hours on end. It affected my marriage, and my wife threatened to leave me. My children weren’t getting enough attention from me because I was so focused on this week’s joint practice between the Patriots and the Eagles. I knew this was a “must-win” practice for the Eagles and if they didn’t get the job done, then serious questions would need to be asked of Hurts, Nick Sirianni, and new offensive coordinator Sean Mannion.

Putting aside the fact that these are simulated August sessions that mean fuck all, it was difficult reading the tweets about Jalen throwing interceptions to the Pats. Those observations came from reporters who laughed at the response to the Eagles recently posting a Jalen interception video on X. So apparently that one didn’t matter, and means nothing, but other interceptions thrown at other meaningless practices should be mentioned.

But make no mistake – this is a big deal! Now that Hurts and Brown have finally spoken to one another, we can once again celebrate the 2022 to 2025 Eagles. Because, before this took place, today, Thursday, the A.J. Brown trade overshadowed everything else. It didn’t matter that he played for the Eagles during the most successful run in franchise history. It didn’t matter that he won a Super Bowl and played in another. It didn’t matter that he caught 339 regular season passes for 5,034 yards and 32 touchdowns. It didn’t matter that he added 334 postseason yards and three scores.

The only thing that mattered was the insufferable drama, perpetuated by the fake news media and various jabroni influencer/YouTube types who were incapable of logging off.

But thankfully we can move on, concerns now assuaged.
