There are Flyers fans who are still — understandably — salty about how close Shea Weber came to becoming a Flyer before being snatched back by the Predators. And if you’re one of those fans, may I advise you plan your Flyers away game road trip around any game other than the December 27th game in Nashville, because that’s Shea Weber bobblehead night.
“The Predators gave us a heads up on their bobblehead doll promotion schedule this year. They have six dates — but one especially sticks out. It would be Dec. 27, Shea Weber bobblehead night against Philadelphia.
Remember how two summers ago when the Flyers signed Weber to the massive 14-year $110 million offer sheet that the Predators matched? Clearly Nashville has not forgotten.”
It’s not even the first time the Flyers have played the Predators in Nashville since it all went down, but you know some intern who just got there brought it up in a meeting and everyone high-fived about it and was just being an all-around dick. That’s some lame shit Nashville.
