Stop me if you've heard the one about a Puerto Rican guy and a stolen car in Florida before.

Not more than an hour after mentioning Kris Versteeg's vandalized car, it comes across that J.C. Romero's Porsche Panamera was stolen last night (incredibly, we do have a picture of Romero looking for a car, which would have been all too perfect to use if it wasn't so blurry).

According to WTSP in Tampa (via Hardball Talk), Romero's Porsche was stolen from Bert Smith Porsche in St. Petersburg. Haven't the folks of the greater Tampa area learned not to fuck with J.C.?

Phillies beat reporters, on Twitter, have since confirmed the theft- where were they last night?

Ah yes, the Porsche Panamera, the car coveted by low-profile athletes such as Jayson Werth and Lou Williams.

No truth to the rumor that Romero had LoJack and was unsuccessful in four consecutive attempts to locate the car. That's an accuracy joke, in case you were wondering.

Good luck finding the car, Juan.
