More names added.
Doug Marrone
The constantly growing list of potential head coaches has also expanded to include former Bills head coach and current Jaguars assistant head coach/offensive line coach Doug Marrone.
Marrone was interviewed for the Eagles’ head coaching opening back in 2013 but didn’t get the job [editor’s note: obvs]. He went on to coach the Bills to a 15–17 record before opting out of his deal and rubbing his then-players the wrong way.
Marrone headwear status: hybrid, likely due to weather
Teryl Austin
Austin, the Lions’ defensive coordinator, was in this morning’s roundup, but now it’s a little more nailed down since Chris Mortensen confirmed his interview status with the Eagles on NFL Insiders just a little bit ago (via BGN). He’ll also reportedly interview with the Browns.
