You may be surprised, but I actually hate writing posts like this. I would rather the city’s Sixers columns, hot takes, and opinion pieces be driven by real information and written by people who know the players’ names. We can’t always get what we want though, can we Mike Kern?

Once is a weird typo, since R, T, Y, and U all come between E and I on the keyboard. Twice is an idiot. The DN has since corrected Joel “Imbiid,” but Shawn “Sean” Bradley remains:

When the city’s columnists can’t even be bothered to check if they’re getting basic information right, how are we expected to take anything they say with any amount of seriousness? And when you call them out or correct them, you’re just one of those rabid, basement dwelling, Hinkie-ites with your basic information, correct player names, and basic facts.

Kyle: Forget about taking them seriously, this is just embarrassing. Embiid is, for better or worse, one of the more notable Philly athletes. This should tell you just how informed local writers are on a subject before they decide to opine. Hint: Not very.
