UPDATE: Mike Vecchione’s Brother Hints Mike Will Make His Debut TONIGHT

Dave Hakstol hinted yesterday that top college FA signee Mike Vecchione would make his NHL debut on Saturday. He did concede that earlier was possible but he didn’t “know about Tuesday.” Well, thanks to Vecchione’s less-attractive brother, Joe, we might know about Tuesday:

If the Vecchione family is going to Newark to see Flyers/Devils tonight and say Mike is debuting, that’s good enough for us. Friend and family leakers are the best.
Vecchione won’t even have his first full practice with the team until tomorrow, so it’s bound to be a little sloppy if he plays tonight, but since when is that new?
Flyers prospect Sam Morin will also make his debut tonight.
UPDATE: Vecchione is indeed making his debut tonight.
