Since last week’s Eagles win, Mike Trout and Carson Wentz have been reportedly hanging out over the holidays. There were tweets and reports saying they went hunting together:

This is good. When top-notch football recruits visit college, there are all kinds of rumors about what the colleges will do to convince them their school is the right one. Parties, drugs, women, etc. This is the bizarro universe version of that. If Mike Trout comes to the Phillies in free agency in 2020 (or in a trade before), he and Wentz can go to breakfast in Millville and Avalon all they want. Let him entice you, Mike.
Carson Wentz has the power to eventually bring a Super Bowl and another World Series to Philadelphia.
