Association of Pickleball Professionals Spreading Fake News

There’s a 0% chance that this is true:
New data commissioned by the Association of Pickleball Professionals suggests that 19% of the US adult population has played pickleball at least once this year — that's 48.3 million Americans.
The avg age of that player is 34.8 years old.

There is no way in hell that 48.3 million Americans played pickleball since January 1st. I’m not even sure 48.3 million Americans even know what pickleball is.
This is why I’ve said that pickleball needs to be stopped. It was harmless when it was a niche sport played by your 72-year-old dad, but we didn’t take the threat seriously and now it’s getting out of control. They’re making up completely fake numbers and having people like Rovell tweet them out. How much did big pickle pay Rovell for this?
Pickleball is a fucking scourge. They’re building courts everywhere, there’s a Major League Pickleball organization that nobody asked for, and the guy running the league things it’s gonna be a top-5 sport.
