“That was our moment to tell everybody to shut up.”
Everybody like… Brandon Graham? Fans and media absolutely were talking about the Hurts/Brown thing after the “passing game” postgame comments of last week, but it was B.G. on WIP that kicked the hornet’s nest and brought up the personal relationship between QB1 and WR1. Let’s make sure we’re keeping it all straight.
What’s more important, of course, is that the public sloppiness had no impact on team performance. The Birds’ offense looked great on Sunday night, putting up 401 yards on that Steelers defense. Brown hit the 100-yard mark for the 5th time this season, scored the game’s first touchdown, and saw a season-high 11 targets. Jalen was 25 for 32 for 290 and a couple of touchdowns. No one will care about anybody’s comments if the Eagles continue rip off win after win after win. A.J. Brown can channel his inner Maxine Waters and tell us all to go “straight to hell.” Doesn’t matter if he plays the way the did against the Steelers. GO BIRDS.
