Both Howie Roseman and Doug Pederson Give The Ol’ “No Comment” on Lane Johnson
By Kyle Scott

Both Howie Roseman and Doug Pederson declined to comment on the Lane Johnson situation today after questions AROSE yesterday about just when and who was told about developments. Johnson claimed he told the team two weeks ago. Doug Pederson said he just found out last week. So either Johnson is lying, Doug is lying, or Eagles brass didn’t tell Pederson.
Today, the Eagles no-commented the shit out of questions.
Roseman, with his voice slightly cracking, straight-up gave a no comment.
Pederson used a few more words, including a malapropism: “Until I get further notification from the NFL, I’m not going to talk about it anymore. It’s a mute point.”
The word Pederson was looking for, of course, was moot. Moot point.
This is a bit of a media-driven issue, but it’s noteworthy because either someone is lying or the front office didn’t let the head coach in on a fairly important detail.
