In the media, I just try to be devoted and respectful to my teammates and coaches, as I believe negative comments only lead to the dissension and possible destruction of a team. It’s my job to ensure that I have my teammates and coaches back, no matter what, so that they can then trust me in return. I believe this is a basic principle of team camaraderie and loyalty, and if that makes me a “house n*****” as Josh Innes puts it, I’ll take it.
