This was posted Tuesday evening on social media. It’s Fox insider Jay Glazer on Jalen Hurts:

“The drama was way bigger outside the building than inside the building. The first team meeting after Brandon Graham said what he said, Jalen and A.J. Brown got up and were like ‘we’re good, just so everybody knows, we’re fine.’  …The thing that nobody knows, and this is a credit to Jalen – is in the bye week, Brandon Graham and Big Dom actually went to his house and said ‘hey man, we need you to kind of connect more with everybody here.’ As a quarterback you can kind of get lost in that. So much other stuff you gotta do. And he went out of his way, met with the offensive line, connected. He met with Sirianni like three times, or several times, connected with him. He went out of his way with Graham, with everybody… It’s not out there, how good of a job he’s done to connect with his teammates.”

That is nice to hear, though B.G. responded to an aggregation of this report on Instagram, writing the following:

B.G. is responding to a short, written synopsis of a portion of the report, so it’s possible he didn’t even see the original video, which is basically two reports wrapped into one. There’s the team meeting portion, then the assertion that Graham and Big Dom went to meet with Jalen Hurts about connecting with teammates, which B.G. suggests is not true. Could use some clarification from him, or maybe it’s best that he doesn’t speak for the rest of the year.

Regardless, whatever has been going on behind the scenes, it seems to be working fine. The Eagles are 12-2 and on a 10-game winning streak. They just swept the AFC North and the #1 seed is in play. Jalen Hurts threw for 290 yards and two touchdowns while running for 45 as well, all with a broken finger against a great Steelers defense. Detroit stumbled against Buffalo and they’re banged up. So when you zoom out and look at the bigger picture, things are good. Go Birds.
