Paddy Pimblett Just Hanging Out in Philly After UFC 330, Having the Time of His Life

Paddy Pimblett was in town for UFC 330 on Saturday night and seemed to have a great time. He got a big crowd pop when he was shown on the big screen, taking a bite of his cheesesteak and doing his little hopping-arm-waving dance:
That was good stuff. That’s fun. So fun, in fact, that one night in Philly didn’t seem to be enough for Paddy. He’s been just kind of wandering around town ever since, and – considering his penchant for eating anything and everything he sees when he’s not training for a fight – you can’t help but notice he’s been hitting food-centric spots:
You can’t tell me he didn’t consume at least 12,000 calories at this Phillies game. You can’t tell me he didn’t watch the game on a wall TV in Pass & Stow while housing plates of shrimp scampi that he kept getting refills on like coffee at Uncle Bill’s. You can’t tell me he’s not packing at least four empty, sticky ice cream helmets in his little pouch-purse to take home as a souvenir. That’s great. Happy Paddy got over there.
Paddy’s holding just one cheesesteak in the photo at Skinny Joey’s, but he surely consumed at least two before the picture was take with Joey and Snuff. That’s nice. That’s an authentic Philadelphia experience.
This one’s a tough beat. Gotta imagine Paddy thought the practice would have game-day-level concessions. Poor guy likely had to settle for fifteen Clif Builders bars, the chocolate melting all over the inside of the wrapper due to the heat, drying to the corners of Paddy’s mouth and covering his fingers until he wiped them in the grass.
This rules. I, for one, hope Paddy never leaves Philly. It’s comforting to know that he’s somewhere out there right now, following his nose wherever it takes him, meandering through CHOP’s cafeteria to get to the omelette bar or paying admission to the Franklin Institute because he senses there are M&M’s in the gift shop. Stay as long as you like, Paddy. Wander through the city like a mythical folk hero.
