Two free agent signings, two rookie draft picks, and a veteran coordinator who took a gap year in Miami before coming to Philadelphia. Saquon Barkley had himself a monster season and is a finalist for TWO awards, yet the bigger story on action news is Zack Baun, who was pulled off the New Orleans scrap heap and turned into one of the league’s best linebackers. It’s incredible what he’s done this season. 16 games, 151 tackle, 11 TFL, five QB hits, five forced fumbles, 4 PBUs, and 3.5 sacks while going to his first Pro Bowl. His signing will go down as one of the best buy-low moves in Philadelphia sports history, if not the best.
