We Must Identify the 94 WIP Mystery Guest Host

As you know, Angelo Cataldi is retiring at the end of the year. Thank God.

He’s working four days a week as he throttles down in 2022, so WIP is rotating different hosts in on Wednesdays to cover for him. So far, we’ve had Jon Johnson, Jon Marks, and Joe DeCamara fill in, and I think Joe Giglio has been on as well. Those guys would possibly be internal candidates to replace Angelo, if Rod Lakin and David Yadgaroff want to go that route.

But this month they are branching out and having some MYSTERY guests fill in. Today Merrill Reese was on:

He'll be hosting until 10am, taking calls, telling stories, and answering questions.

Merrill is a good dude. I was in his house one time. His memorabilia collection is rad.

But anyway, who do you think the next mystery guest is? Yon Yohnson says this is huge:

Shit, I better start asking around. Better start working some sources. If I can’t break this news, then what’s the point? Nobody does more useless radio stories than us, so if Crossing Broad can’t get this scoop, we’ll go put on the dunce cap and sit in the corner for 15 minutes.

I’m intrigued though. Will the mystery guest be Eagles Shirley? Chuck from Mount Airy? Ingy? What about Butch from Manayunk? Maybe Marisa from Tokyo can do the show live from Japan. Konichiwa bitches.
