“The Goldbergs” have been working their way through the Philly-fandom spectrum since the show started. They’ve dealt with the Eagles/Cowboys rivalry, popped up at the Vet, showed us “Ruben Amaro Jr.”, and dedicated a Flyers-themed episode to the memory of Ed Snider. Next week they’re going further into the fan spectrum by going into the Spectrum. Again.

On October 12th at 8 p.m., the Goldberg family will attend a Flyers game from “1980-something” to get their father and grandfather to get along. It’s hockey, family, and passive-aggression. It’s truly Philadelphian:

As Kyle pointed out, “I’d argue that the flyers are wearing away orange which they didn’t use to do. The spectrum logo is right though.” Sometimes it’s the little things that matter most.
