A few weeks ago, it came to light that Chris Pronger had minor arthroscopic knee surgery to remove loose bodies.  Today we learned the recovery will take longer than aniticpated.

Pronger told CSN Philly that he won't be ready for the start of training camp, and MAY be ready for the start of the season.  Perhaps even more interesting is that he says he injured the knee during Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semifinals (second round).  Impressive, considering he played another month and helped lead the team to the Finals- having it drained several times along the way.

He has a lot of rehab to do to build up his leg muscles and it's not certain he will be ready to start the season.

Someone get this man to Dorney- it's much better than the Jeff Carter rehab plan.

Figures he would have a friend with an "Ill" shirt
