Sources: Flyers Beat Writer Randy Miller Has Been Let Go By the Courier-Post

Sources tell me that Randy Miller – oh great defender of Bryz until he was no longer of use to him – and sports editor Gary Silvers were cap casualties, let go from the Courier-Post today, apparently as a result of Gannett cutbacks at the paper.
We can assume that Dave Isaac, who combined with Miller to cover the Flyers for the Post, will be their lone beat writer (which, really, is all you need). But that’s unconfirmed.
There’s no need to kick a guy when he’s down… but, you know, it would be outstanding if Ilya Bryzgalov called Miller right now to get his thoughts:
