Here’s Biz and Ryan Whitney talking about Matvei Michkov being out of shape on a recent episode of Spittin’ Chiclets:

Since these comments, Michkov has been a Calder candidate, model teammate, and has even picked up some English so he can communicate better. Doesn’t seem like a guy kicking his teammates or one that has character issues two seasons in to me:

It’s funny because Rick Tocchet is actually on this episode of Chiclets, but it was recorded before the season. So this conversation came after the interview and that’s when the out of shape thing was mentioned. A lot of whispering down the lane, but I guess technically the report is true since Tocchet told the beats on Monday that Michkov was “behind the eight ball.” There was just some meat still left on the bone.

So who’s leaking stuff from inside the club already? My clear number one is Kevin Hayes. You just know this has his fingerprints all over it.
