A double dose!

Claude Giroux is going head-t0-head with the ugliest player in the league, Evengi Malkin, in TSN’s Play of the Year voting today (early rounds). Vote for Giroux’s dirty deke against the Bruins and Tim Thomas (or you can vote for Malkin’s coast-to-coast move against the Lightning…).

Malkin currently leads 53% to 46%. But I suspect that we can change that. Vote here.

Moving on.

Good news and bad news– Claude Giroux has advanced in NHL 13 cover voting, beating Scott Hartnell. But, Hartnell moves on thanks to EA Sports’ Wild Card matchup, in which he will face Blues forward David Perron.

Giroux was leading in votes last week, and I assume that Hartnell, despite getting beat by his teammate, got enough to earn extra considersation from EA Sports (that or they just want the publicity that comes with stuff like this).

Anyway, vote for Giroux and Hartnell here.
