Hilarious. First, we get the height joke. Well done. Then, nine seconds in, Rosenthal moves to step in front of the Phanatic, like he was positioning himself for a rebound on a free throw. Then the dork director panics and cuts away from the live shot immediately.

Apropos, in the heyday of Crossing Broad, The Maestro had it out for Rosenthal. He wasn’t a fan of bow tie, writing this back in 2013:
