Common Mistake: Identifying Andrew McCutchen as Lawrence McCutcheon

Howard Eskin vs. technology is one of Philadelphia’s all-time biggest rivalries.

The King is down in Clearwater for Phillies Spring Training, asking the hard questions that other nitwits and dopes don’t have the guts to ask.

Sometimes he has trouble navigating Twitter, however, such as the instance last week where he ripped the wrong Jessica Mendoza twice, before correcting himself. Today, he made the common mistake of confusing Phillies outfielder Andrew McCutchen for Los Angeles Rams running back Lawrence McCutcheon, who last played in 1981:

 

Honest mistake.

Nobody is perfect.

I’m sure every single one of us has erroneously misidentified Andrew McCutchen as Lawrence McCutcheon at some point in our lifetime.
