Joel Embiid Will Not Play Tonight or Travel with Team Tomorrow

Just as the Ben Simmons conspiracy corner is heating up, should we start subscribing to Embiid theories? With no current timetable for his return from a bone bruise on his left knee, Embiid will sit out tonight’s game and won’t be on tomorrow’s flight to Orlando.

I’m still not concerned – for now – and it hurts the Sixers none to hold Embiid out until the All-Star Break. But when that very special February 24th game comes around, if Embiid is still not playing, that’s when I officially get concerned. I long for the day when being a Sixers fan isn’t nearly this stressful.
