After making a handful of moves at the deadline, the already-depleted Sixers are now down to the following players for Friday night’s game against the Hawks:

  • Tyrese Maxey
  • Tobias Harris
  • Paul Reed
  • Kelly Oubre
  • Terquavion Smith
  • Mo Bamba
  • KJ Martin
  • Kenneth Lofton Jr
  • Ricky Council IV

That’s it. Nine guys. Terq Smith better come out bombing three pointers again.

Joel Embiid is obviously out, post surgery. Nic Batum has a hamstring strain. Robert Covington? Bone bruise. De’Anthony Melton is still recovering from the lumbar thing. Then Cam Payne and Buddy Hield are listed as “trade pending” and can’t suit up yet. Pat Bev, Jaden Springer, Furkan Korkmaz, Danuel House and Marcus Morris are gone. There are multiple open roster spots.

So here we are. The Hawks are 22-29 and 10th in the East, 4-6 in their last 10 and a -2.5 favorite in Philadelphia. The Sixers got worked by the Warriors at Wells Fargo Center the other night, they’ve lost 7 of 8, and haven’t looked competitive in the last few. It’s an over/under of 246.5 if you wanna jump on that, or avoid this game like the plague and put your money into the best PA online casinos instead.
