Sixers Fan Claims He Was Kicked Out of Game 4 for Yelling That Josh Harris Should Sell the Team

Sixers fans across the Delaware Valley had an emotional Sunday as the Knicks finished up the second round sweep, but one fan may have had it worse than anyone: This guy was allegedly kicked out of Game 4 for yelling that Josh Harris should sell the team:
“Are you gonna accept this? Why are they kicking me out? I told Josh Harris to sell the team and they wanna kick me out. Why? Boo! (nearby fans join him in booing security) Sell the team, Josh!
This is good. I like what I’m seeing here. This is a man who’s dedicated to his cause. The costume makes that crystal clear. The little jacket cannot be comfortable. The big hat must be itchy. And yet he perseveres. This fan toughs it out because he believes in his message: Josh Harris must sell the team.
Do I agree? Sure. I think that’d be fine. It sucks pretty bad that Josh Harris treats the Sixers like just another investment in his portfolio. Think it’s lame as hell that he also owns the Devils and Commanders. I’m tired of the team being depressing, mediocre, and very embarrassing. His manipulative posturing about moving the arena was straight-up weasel behavior. So yeah, I think it’d probably be good if he stepped aside. That’d be nice. My only concern is that I’m pretty sure anyone rich enough to own the Sixers would act the same way. So I don’t know. I also think demanding Josh Harris sell the team lets Daryl Morey off the hook – I’d be more likely to say roster construction is the bigger problem with this team. But anyway, I digress. The more important thing to consider, I think, is this:
Should this guy have been kicked out? I’m a little torn on that. While everything I’m seeing on X seems to indicate that this Jason Kelce Guy was pretty nice to everyone sitting around him, I’m not sure how much that matters. If anyone is yelling anything over and over again at a game – and the stuff they’re yelling doesn’t explicitly have to do with the ebbs and flows of the game – I think it’s probably fine to kick them out. It’s just an annoying thing to do. I know that if I was sitting directly behind this guy, I’d be quietly very upset by my seating luck.“I spent so much money on this ticket… and the Sixers are getting crushed… Why do I also have to sit near this screaming, costumed man? This is hell…” Again, it has nothing to do with the sentiment; I just think hearing any opinions screamed over and over, regardless of their substance, is usually unpleasant.
And ultimately, I think this guy knew what was gonna happen. He knew what he was getting into. You don’t wear a full costume unless there’s a strong chance of being filmed. And in my opinion, he should be fine with how things unfolded. He got his message out. We’re all talking about it. And, best of all, he didn’t have to sit there and watch the slop that was the Sixers Game 4 loss.
