Sixers Title Run Back on After Paul George Restarts his Podcast

One of the big stories of this ill-fated Sixers season was that Paul George shut down his podcast to focus on winning a championship. That was on February 26th, when the team was pretty much dead in the water, but it was a nice gesture, if lacking in the self-awareness department. Fast forward now to May 13th and the podcast is back:
“The reason I took the hiatus was moreso I wanted to get my body healthy. I wasn’t mentally there, in a time of where we were at as a team, me dealing with injuries, I wasn’t in a space of being jolly and happy. Obviously we had topics and guests to talk with, but it wasn’t much for me to talk about, just because of where I was at.”
It’s incredible how quickly things can turn in sports. Less than 12 hours ago we were filled with dread, thinking that the NBA was going to screw the Sixers out of a top-6 draft pick. Next thing you know, BAM! The Sixers are picking third, we’re Googling Ace Bailey highlights, and now Podcast P is BACK. It’s awesome baby!
Let this be known as the moment the Sixers’ title run started. May 13th will be a day that lives in infamy! We are so back.
