Your Tuesday Morning Roundup

Published:

Good morning! It’s the best working day of the year! The kids are back in school, the leaves are turning brown, and the Eagles are about to start their season with a rookie quarterback. I’m a sick motherfucker and welcome the return to normalcy, to the grind, to… continuing to blog from my underwear with no discernible change in lifestyle because I rarely leave the house anyway.
Let’s hit it!
But first, a word from our sponsors:
Beer. Get tickets to the ultimate craft beer festival. The Tapped Craft Beer Festival is coming to Norristown’s Elmwood Park Zoo on Saturday, September 24. The event will feature two four-hour sessions showcasing 100+ beer, wine and cider tastings, as well as great food offerings and animal encounters throughout the Zoo’s 16 acres. Confirmed breweries for TAPPED Philadelphia include, Victory Brewing Company, Sly Fox Brewery, Handsome Beer, Tröegs Brewing Company, Saint Benjamin Brewing Company and Evil Genius Beer Company, with many more to be announced. Get your tickets here.
Bang. Still selling. Get one.

The roundup:
Carson Wentz is your starting quarterback. The Eagles’ line against the Browns dropped from -7 (in some spots) to -4, signaling Vegas’ WARINESS about starting a rookie quarterback coming off injury who barely played in the preseason.
The Cowboys signed Mark Sanchez.
Jrue Holiday is taking some time off to care for his pregnant wife as she undergoes brain surgery.
This is a sign of a teacher who’s going to sleep with the kid in the first row.
The Sixers enjoyed themselves at Made in America:

And some other people were there too: Bill Clinton, Jay-Z, and Beyonce to be specific.
The Iron Pigs will remain a Phillies affiliate at least through 2020.
