Pitching FAIL: Johan Santana

Your team has just given you a three run lead in the top of the first.  You have a chance to take the series from your much cooler, more successful rival on national television.  Said rival's top pitcher just pitched a complete game shutout to even up the series.

Now, it's your turn to take the spotlight.  How do you respond?  You give up ten earned runs, on four home runs, in 3.2 innings.

Yeah, that's a colossal failure.

One response to Pitching FAIL: Johan Santana

  1. fail is not even an appropriate word. i can’t even think of a word negative enough to describe what Santana did. the best part was the ESPN announcers talking about how he doesn’t give up homeruns often. guess they were wrong. go phils!!
