Moyer_photoWe think Jamie Moyer is going through a mid-life crisis.  Thanks to HughE Dillon for the photo.

Crazy sports weekend in Philadelphia.  Werth is gone, the Flyers won two games, Temple was snubbed for a bowl bid- and all of that without Eagles football.

Couple of quick housekeeping notes to start.  Come out to Rock Bottom in King of Prussia tonight, the folks from Philly Sports Daily and myself will be there from 7-8:30 talking Eagles, Flyers, and Werth. Also, our friends at TheBusinessofSports.com are having a networking event for those of you interested in working in sports.  It is next Monday, December 13th, at the Field House in Center City from 6:30-9:30.  I'll be there as well.

The roundup:

– Very sad.  Phil Jasner passed away.

– Pat Gillick is going to make the Hall of Fame.

– Uh, Jayson Werth was signed by the Nationals.

– The Flyers and Sixers both won at home on Saturday.  Mike Richards got away with a two-hander to the face of Jamie Langenbrunner.

– The Sixers deny trying to trade Iguodala.  Why? Why?!

– Jamie Moyer and Jimmy Rollins were at a fundraiser for The Moyer Foundation.  More photos from HughE Dillon at PhillyChitChat.com, who also tells us Werth agreed to sell Ryan Howard his Diamond Club Membership at CBP should he leave the Phillies.

– Domonic Brown is tired and sluggish.

D-Jac's party was poppin'.

– Random E Street Band members writes for ESPN and hates Michael Vick.

– Michael Vick is signing autographs at BC Sports tomorrow night at the Deptford Mall

Temple was snubbed for a bowl bid.

– Oh look, UCLA and USC fans shank each other. But apparently Philly has the worst fans.

– And Michael Leighton won't go away.

– ZooWithRoy's Phillies as Beloved Christmas Characters.
