Friday night, after D-Jac's comments were posted around the interwebtuals, Ya Boi took to Twitter to defend his comments (Tweets which were later deleted):

WANNA BRING ME DOWN BUT IM OK!! THEY TRYIN KNOCC ME OFF BUT IM STILL ON!! THEY LOOKN 2 TAKE YA DOWN AT ALL TIMES NO MATTER HOW POSITIVE AND WHAT U DO!! ITS ALWAYS AWAY THEY TRY TO GET YA … IM STANDIN TALL.

First of all, umm caps lock?? Second, try a "G" on those verbs. Works wonders.

Last night, DeSean released a statment and updated those comments to be a little more grammatically and politically correct:

I am sorry for using words that I know to be hurtful and unacceptable in a recent radio interview. I have made a mistake and would like to make it clear that words I used meant no disrespect to the Gay and Lesbian community. Intolerance is unacceptable and I apologize to anyone I have offended.

Yeah, he didn't write that.

Let's hypothesize – and this is a hypothetical! – about how D-Jac may have expressed that sentiment:

YO ITS YA BOY DJACC HERR AND I JUST WANT 2 TAKE A 2ND TO SAY MY BAD 4 SAYIN WORDS I NO 2 TO B HURT YA WHEN YA BOI WAS HOLDN IT DOWN ON SIRIUS SAT COM YA DIGG??? MY BAD AND WASNT TRY'N MAKE IT CRYSTAL CLEAR LKE YA BOY DJACC RUNNIN N OPEN FIELD THAT I WASNT TRY'N SLAM U GAYS AND LES. THAT WASN COOL N I SAY MY BAD TO ALL MY LIGHTFOOT PEEPS.

That should be followed by some fun emails…

Anyway, D-Jac apologized… and I will too. I've been told that D-Jac did not spend $25,000 at da club two weeks ago. Rather, it was allegedly a promotional party for his upcoming JACCPOT Records, which apparently has some funding other than from D-Jac's pocket. I do, however, have trouble believing that someone funding a record label would allow a bunch of kids to drop $25,000 on drinks. Finance guys usually have a lot of money exactly because they don't do things like that. Secondly, D-Jac removed the Tweet pretty quickly. His buddy also said this the morning after:

My boy @DeseanJackson10 went in last night i thought it was New Years Eve!!!!

So, officially, D-Jac didn't foot the $25,000 bill. But my eyebrow is still raised.
