UPDATE: The Eagles Have Released Miles Austin
By Kyle Scott
Published:

The Eagles released Miles Austin today. I’ll just quote myself from three weeks ago:
I’ve never seen a receiver more useless to make plays on catchable balls. He makes barely a token effort and waves at anything not in his midsection, completely fails in his secondary role to break up interceptions, and never appears to be on the same page as his quarterbacks. The Miles Austin connection stinks. It’s a waste. He’s a waste. He’s cost the Eagles 20+ points this season and the game today. Cut him.
Can’t imagine how the Eagles will get by without his 13 catches on 31 targets over 11 games. What a waste.
UPDATE: And Cary Williams is getting released by the Seahawks!
The #Seahawks are releasing CB Cary Williams, source said. A big-money free agent.
